How to delete my account?

This guide shows how to delete your Prodgy account directly from your Profile settings, using the Danger Zone section for a safer and more explicit experience.

Step by step Management

Section titled “Step by step ”
  1. Open your Profile settings
    Go to your user menu (top-right) and open Profile settings.

  2. Find the Danger Zone section
    Scroll until you see the Danger Zone area (it should be visually highlighted to indicate higher-risk actions).

  3. Click “Delete account”
    Select the option to delete your account.

  4. Read the confirmation message
    A confirmation dialog/message is displayed explaining the consequences of deleting your account.

  5. Confirm with your password
    Enter your current password to confirm the deletion (security check), then proceed.

  6. Account deletion is executed
    Prodgy permanently removes all information related to your user from the database.

  7. See confirmation and get redirected
    You’ll see a success confirmation message and you will be automatically signed out and redirected to the Login screen.

After completing the steps above:

  • Your account is permanently deleted.
  • Your session is terminated automatically.
  • You are redirected to the Login screen with a confirmation message.
  • This action is designed to be simple and secure by requiring password confirmation.
  • Once deleted, the account and its data cannot be restored.
  • Problem: The “Delete account” option is not visible.
    How to fix: Confirm you are in Profile settings and scroll to the Danger Zone section.

  • Problem: Password confirmation fails.
    How to fix: Verify you’re using your current password and try again. If you’ve recently changed it, use the latest one.
