Agent Installation

Guide

Before installing an agent, make sure that:

  • You have an active account on Prodgy
  • You have access to at least one product
  • You have administrator or management permissions on the workspace
  1. Access the Agent Panel

Log in to the Prodgy platform, select the workspace, and navigate to the agents section. You’ll see the grid with all available agents.

  2. Choose the agent

Identify the agent you want to install. Agents with Available status display the “Install” button on the card.

  3. Start the installation wizard

Click “Install” to open the guided wizard. The process is divided into steps, with a progress bar indicating advancement.

The wizard guides you through all necessary configurations before activating the agent:

The first screen presents the agent’s general information:

  • Name and avatar of the agent
  • Version that will be installed
  • Author and publication date
  • Description detailing what the agent does and how to use it

Select the integrations the agent will use to connect to external tools:

  • Each integration is displayed with its logo and description
  • Examples: Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira, OpenAI, Aha!
  • You can select only the integrations relevant to your workflow
  • Integrations can be added or removed later in the settings

Configure the system prompts that guide the agent’s behavior:

  • Prompts are divided into sections with title and content
  • You can add new sections or remove existing ones
  • Content accepts free text and is editable with a full editor
  • Prompts define how the agent interprets and processes requests

Define the agent-specific configuration parameters:

Field typeDescription
TextFree text fields for names, URLs, descriptions
NumberNumeric values for limits, quantities, thresholds
SelectionDropdown with pre-defined options
BooleanOn/off toggle to enable features
JSONFields for advanced configuration in JSON format

Required fields are marked with a red asterisk. Validation occurs in real time.

After confirmation, the installation runs automatically. The progress bar displays the status of each internal step:

  1. Copying — copies the agent’s base data
  2. Integrations — configures the selected integrations
  3. Parameters — applies the defined parameters
  4. Publishing — publishes the agent’s first version
  5. Exporting — exports the final configuration
  6. Finalizing — completes the process

Each step displays a visual indicator: pending, running (spinner), or completed (green check).

After successful installation:

  • The agent appears with Installed status (green dot) in the Agent Panel
  • A first version is automatically published
  • The agent’s webhook is generated and can be copied in the settings
  • You can access the Settings panel by clicking the gear icon on the card

To uninstall an agent from the workspace:

  1. Go to the Agent Panel and locate the installed agent
  2. Click the uninstall button available on the agent card
  3. Confirm the action in the confirmation dialog
